The Rotas module offers a structured and comprehensive solution for creating and managing work schedules. A rota is a detailed schedule outlining when each employee is expected to work, including their shift start and end times, days off, and other pertinent information. Effective rota management is essential for maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring proper coverage, and distributing workloads effectively.
The Rotas module provides a dependable means of organizing employees and maximizing productivity. Add-On Purchase Steps
- Purchase the Add-On:
- Navigate to the “Subscription Plan” page.
- Click on “Usage Plan” and locate the Rotas add-on.
- Complete the purchase process.
- Access the Add-On:
- After purchasing, find the Rotas add-on in the menu card.
How to Use the Rotas Add-On
- Access the Rotas Module:
- Once purchased, click on the Rotas add-on in the menu card.
- Explore Rotas Options:
- You will see three options: Rota, Work Schedule, and Availability.
- Manage the Rota Page:
- On the Rota page, view and add schedules for employees.
- To add a schedule:
- Click the “+” button below the employee’s name.
- Enter the start time, end time, break, and a note visible only to the employee.
- After adding the schedule, click the “Publish Rotas” button at the top right corner to make the schedule visible on the Rotas Dashboard.
- Additional options on the Rota page include:
- Copy Shift: Copy shifts for other employees.
- Copy Rotas Next Week: Copy the current rota to the next week.
- Additional Settings: Configure further settings.
- Send Rotas via Email: Email the rotas.
- Print Rotas: Print the rotas.
- Share Rotas: Share the rotas with relevant stakeholders.

- Manage the Work Schedule Page:
- On the Work Schedule page, add and modify employee days off and working days as needed.

- Manage Availability:
- On the Availability page, manage employee availabilities for 1, 2, 3, or 4 weeks.
- Edit or delete availability records as needed. Note that if you add availability for the same date, the system will refer to the last record.
