I noticed a very slight shudder in my steering wheel last week, only at highway speeds. My friend said I was being paranoid and to just turn up the radio. But I have a bad feeling about ignoring stuff like that. I remembered reading an article about why small vehicle issues shouldn’t be ignored, especially with the heat and driving we have here. It convinced me to just get it checked. Turns out a wheel weight had fallen off and it was throwing off the balance. Cheap fix. Now my friend’s check engine light has been on for a month and he’s ignoring it. I am trying to get him to read that same article. Anyone else have a story where a tiny thing almost became a big problem?
